This is a wide ranging role in which you will be providing high quality administrative support assisting the management and sales team members while also independently handling a variety of other tasks. The environment can be pressurised so you need to be flexible, able to work to tight deadlines and have the ability to take on challenging  tasks in a changing environment.

 

The role:

Duties of the role include will include but are not limited to:

*Assistance with report creation and production for both in-house use and clients *Filing systems management – both electronic and paper *General administration including the production of letters and emails and ad-hoc filing *Fielding in-coming phone calls – taking messages, prioritising and taking action as appropriate *Liaising with employees and associates, including business analysts, management team, field account manager and external contractors *Managing and meeting deadlines as required

 

Skills and background required:

*You will often be working with minimal supervision and you need to be comfortable handling both repetitive and complex tasks, frequently requiring independent action *An excellent telephone manner with the ability to establish relationships at all levels *Happy to take the initiative when required but also aware of the importance of complying with laid down procedures *Very well organised and focused on accuracy and attention to detail *Competent with a PC and familiar with MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of Sage Act! or another CRM database an advantage *Ability to work independently while providing team support *Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously *Meticulous attention to detail *A high level of interpersonal and communication skills *Proven ability in a similar environment *Graduate calibre thinker

 

There is the opportunity to expand the role once aptitude and ability to take on more has been demonstrated.

 

The successful candidate will have the capability to offer involved support in a diverse array of tasks. You’ll be a self starter, enjoy multi-tasking, have first class communication and organisation skills, and have the ability to prioritise and manage demanding workload. A positive can-do attitude is essential.
